Brian Job moved to the Gold Coast in 1951 and in 1961 commenced optometry practice in his own name. The inital Southport location was relocated to its current site in 1962 and over the ensuing decades the practice has grown to be one of the largest privately owned optometry practices in Queensland, with ten locations on Queensland's Gold Coast. Brian Job retired from the practice in the early 1980's and his first two partners Ron Andrew and Peter Wheeler retired also in 2002 and 2006 respectively.


The practice has a team of caring and dedicated Optometrists and our passion is the care of the vision of our patients. 100% Optometrist ownership means that patients interests are foremost in the decisions of the practice. Being a private independent practice ensures that our Optometrists have clinical freedom to choose the most appropriate eyecare and eyewear for you.
